  In Memoriam: Thomas Hedley Reynolds
Thomas Hedley Reynolds, PhD, former President of the University of New England (UNE), passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2009, at his home in New Castle, ME. Dr. Reynolds, a World War II veteran who served as President of Bates College from 1967-1989, left retirement to become UNE’s third President in 1990; he led UNE for five years.
