The American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine and the Association of Osteopathic Directors and Medical Educators will meet together in April 13-16, 2011 at the Marriott Baltimore Waterfront in Baltimore, Maryland,  for an information-packed Annual Meeting focused on Meeting Future Health Care Needs: The Role of Interprofessional Education. Sessions will explore how interprofessional, team-based medical education can help future physicians meet the nation’s needs, particularly in the post-health care reform era.

Join us as we address such issues as

• graduating adequate numbers of physicians to help mitigate workforce shortages, and ensuring diversity among our graduates;
• recruiting, developing and retaining faculty members who can provide interprofessional education;
• examining student recruitment and admissions processes;
• leading and managing change;
• and infusing the core competencies through the curriculum and across the educational continuum.
