In the spirit of Healthy People 2010, the authors describe the development and practice-based outcomes of a curriculum designed to teach pediatric residents to integrate health education principles into everyday clinical practice. The curriculum was developed by an interdisciplinary team, uses a variety of teaching strategies, and includes outcomes measures.
