The authors have developed a computerized team-based quasi-competitive simulator to teach the principles and practical application of health economics. The simulator fosters active learner-directed discovery and understanding of principles and practical applications. They are currently piloting a modification for undergraduate medical teaching and developing a Web-based version for broader use.
